downsampling help please!!

I am trying to convert my sfd files to mpeg using sfd2mpg, I read the directions and it said I would need and encoder so I downloaded 2lame stuck sfd2mpg in the folder and the sfd file I wanted to convert to keep dos commands simple..I keep on getting the error that it pass1 then mpeg to audio, bad command file name, then pass 2, unable to find "tempolary mp2 file"...Can someone please help me...is there something else I need!!! if so where do i get it, clear instructions please...thank you
