Burning problems using Intervideos DVDCopy.

Whenever I burn a movie with this software the first half of the movie works fine but after awhile I get undesired slowdowns and puases when playing the burned copy of my backedup movie.
Does anyone have any helpful suggestions that might help?

I'm using Windows XP, the latest version of Intervideos DVDCopy platnium, the latest version of AnyDVD, Memorex blank DVD-R 4X disc, and a TDK 840G burner.
