Someone please help me rip nba2k1(dc coders cable)!!

OK I ripped the game, got the game files, the whole game was over 700MB so I tried to downsample something, I couldn't find anything to downsample. So I figured I'll take the commentary out(ZCOMM\Comm.dat). I then burned it and it gets stuck on a black screen after the sega logo. Please help
-tell me what i can downsample
-and if comm.dat is just a file with other files inside it, how can I open it
-Someone please tell me how to burn correctly with DC-CDR???
