Homeworld 2 Backup

Hi, im relatively useless at this backup stuff. I tried to make a backup of homeworld 2, i used clony xxl 2.0.0.6, it said there was no copy protection. So i used clonecd 4.2.0.2 to copy the cd, with the GAME option selected. It seemed okay, but when i tried to install the game it said

HW2_SE~9.exe - bad image: the application or DLL E:\Memory.dll is not a valid windows image.

Can anyone help me? I tried to download a different version of clony xxl in case mine was old but all i could get was clony xl, and it crashes in windows xp everytime it starts up.
