PS-X exchange 2 problem - black and white
I bought a PS-X exchange 2 to play the NTSC version of Crono cross on my PAL psx (not ps-one). I put in the little springy thing and booted the game up just how it said, and it DOES allow me to play the game. However, it always plays in black and white. Does anyone know why it does this, and more importantly how I can fix it!?
Thanks! |

the game is NTSC and the system is PAL
do you have the system connected to you'r tv via a scart lead if you do not then that is you'r problem. in order to play NTSC games in colour on a PAL system you must have a tv which supports it and the system must be connected via a scart lead. |

It's definitely connected by a scart lead, I have tried attaching it to both my scart ports, with and without the adaptor. I'm pretty sure my TV supports 60Hz, because I can play Master Quest on my GC with the same scart port (Master quest can only play in 60Hz). Is there some other difference between PAL and NTSC TVs?

Had the same problem with a couple of games.
NTSC originals played in B/W, backups however were in glorious colour. |
