is it possible to selfboot vcd on dc?

Sure. It's easy. You just treat it like any other Utopia non boot that you want to convert to selfbooting. Burn the first session audio track. Use binhack and ipins, then burn the modified iso. It's just as easy to make selfboot MP3 discs.
