NERO Volume MultiMounter

Anyone is having problems with nero volume multimounter under windows 2000?...I'm having a problem that sometimes the cd reader and/or writer stops reading any CD I put (I have to log out and log in again).
I've also noticed that when I press the copyright button in the Volume Tab (under the cd properties), it generates an error and closes.
If someone is having this problem or knows how to deactivate the multi mounter, I'd be grateful.
