Hello guys!

I compress the game, Tales from the Borderlands Episode 5 size 8.7 GB to 7 GB using precomp

I saw others repack as Kaos, Fitgirl and some other Russian with less than 4 GB

What is the best compression method for this game?

you have to rebuild all the archive files with "Teltale Game Extractor (ttarch.exe extractor)" after that they would be repacked with freearc+srep+lzma etc.
i think many repack group use it, like me ;D

how can you create setup after these job it must be extract all datas and pack the files again with the same extention and same game's data file

The "56" is number of game(Tales From The Borderlands)

To Extract ".ttarch2" files
ttarchext.exe 56 "Original.ttarch2" "Rebuilding_folder"

To Rebuild ".ttarch2" files after extracting of original file
ttarchext.exe -b -V 7 56 "RebuildedFile.ttarch2" "Rebuilding_folder"

after rebuild of all archives you should use msc+srep+lzma compression parameters

Note: new file's size will increase. because original files were decrpted and compressed but we rebuild them without compression

there are different parameter numbers for each games. you can find that is from "ttarchext.exe".

but when you use this program to rebuilding of game's data files , the md5 and sha hashes will change for each files. but this is not important for "Telltale Game series".

use large dictionery for lzma (if you have enough ram)

- delete useless languages (Russian, Spanish .etc) only keep english
- compress bink videos (if this game have any) (i dont have this game)
- Use compressor by razor12911 for compressing

- use large compression memory to get batter compression (if you have 2gb or more ram)
- close other applications when you are compressing
- search on google for a software (so, you can use them to pack/unpack different game archives)
- compress the audio files (if you can)
