50/60hz playback problem

If anyone could help me, I'd be very grateful.

I have 2 backups, Quake3 and Tony Hawks2.
They are self booting.

When I play them, they run perfectly(as far as I can tell) in 60Hz .
The problem is, my TV only runs at 50Hz, and there is no way from the discs to alter the running speed.

Is there some solution that I have missed somewhere? Apart from buying a new TV.
