How do i copy self-booting backups?

Ive borrowed some Dc backups from a friend and want to copy them. I use Nero and CloneCD to copy normal DC backups and it works fine, however Self boot games either dont boot or boot as audio disks, i tried using CDRwin to see if i could patch them but it wont copy them as they have more than one session on them, please tell me what i am doing wrong, or other ways i could get them to work.

i use disc juggler 3 mode1 it burns all my self boot games. hope this helps
