![]() so i have ff7 plat. edition, ive been wanting to play it since crisis core for the psp came out, i know its a really old game and people might not remember anything about it but im hoping. anyway, i have it installed on my laptop but i dont want to use the cds to play the video files cuz the cddrive on my laptop is messed up it makes loud grinding noises.. im not looking for a crack. i just wanna figure out how to play the video files off of my HD instead of the cdrom somehow i dont think its as easy as copying and pasting thanks |

I cant remember exactly
But You make folders CD1 CD2 and CD3 and place the folder containing the videos into each corresponding folder and you can of course add the data files etc also, and I think there was a file or registry to change the CD paths to ./ Then use a crack. |

I remember making a NoCD for the 1.4 patch for this, you just copied the contents of the FF7\DATA\MOVIES\ folders from all 3 CD's into the games DATA folder and copied over the NoCD, no registry tweaks for me
![]() I also think you had to run the ff7.exe in 'win95' compatibility mode too! |
