Anyone please help, Ripped games locking up!!!

I ripped a game and ran it through the ECHELON self boot method and the cd-r boots fine and plays the intro, but locks up after the intro is over or when ever the start button is pressed. Does anyone have any suggestion? THanks

what steps did you use to burn the image once it was all set up?
what software as well, i think that well before i guess get back to me then i can give a definite answer.
