Clone CD Settings

I was wondering if you need to change any of the original settings on Clone CD to make PSX/PS2 backup's I usually use CDRWin

You should select the sub-channel data and abort on read error boxes on reading

You should select Don't repair sub-channel data, RAW-DAO write mode and Always close last session on writing.

Incidentally, the .img file produced can be patched with standard patchers (should you need to do this) and where the patcher requires the file to be called *.BIN, you simply rename it, patch and then rename it back to *.IMG. (So I've dicovered thanks to Chrono on the PSX Forum and tried just once.)

So will the PS2 games I've already done without those settings selected on work proparly and another thing do these settings apply to Dreamcast games to

Those settings can be used for anything PS/PS2. If there's no subchannel data toprocess then the settings have no adverse effect.

No idea about Dreamcast specifics, but I'd say these comments apply.
