Daemon Tools got virus !!

i'm using "F-Prot Antivirus",its free,no need to paid.
Daemon Tools got virus !!its call "W32/Downloader-Web-based!Maximus".

false alarm i would imagine
its probably the bundled (optional install) ad-ware...
please check before reporting things like this...

Closed; this is not the Daemon Tools support forum. And, yes, it's definitely a false positive; it would be unthinkable for such a team to release virus-ridden software... (Also, I'm sad that F-Prot is so bad at heuristics; it was the best virus scanner for DOS in the past! )
