XEAL self boot to non boot problems

i used the tutorial for making self boots into non boots and had great success with 18 wheeler but now i have downloaded a .cdi file of Virtua Tennis and encountered some problems. I have cdiripped then isofixed it. After this i open up isobuster to extract the iso but when i do this the iso will not show up in isobuster. Also i found it weird that the tdata02 file was tdata01 and there was no wave file attached like in 18 wheeler.

Are all CDI's selfbooting?
My burner is a mitsumi 4801te, has anyone copied self boots with this burner after downloading a game?

Where do i find the tutorial for converting self boot into non-self boot images. Any help is much appreciated.
