soul caliber

I don't usually ask questions, just read alot of posts, but for once I am stuck. I have burnt over 200 games with no problem. I own Soul Caliber (bought it with my dreamcast) but now want to make a copy for a friend. This is the only game I CANNOT copy? I have tried 2 different cdr's (imation and TDK) which I normally use. I used DJ 2.0 and have a HP burner. I have made a few coasters in the past, but it is usually my own fault. After first few coasters I deleted this game, and d/l it again just to make sure.
Any ideas??

so you are trying to backup a backup right not just trying to rip or copy the original?

I'm trying to burn a cdi... still no luck, tried again today just for the heck of it. Make that coaster #5 for this game.
