Spider-Man 3 Game

I have a problem staring the game. Black screen all the time. I have radeon x700Pro which has pixelshader 2.0 and for the spiderman game is required 3.0.

Does anyone know how to deal with this?? I saw in other games that dudez forced pixelshade 1.4 but in spider-man it doesn't work. Maybe an aplication which forces pixelshader 2.0??

Wow PS 3.0 needed? They must have lost about 85% of their market consumer doing that.

R6 Vegas and SC Double Agent did the same. anyway anyone got it? any good? i'm getting the wii version anywau so whatever

the game says "sry due to an error, windows as to shutdown the application... if you want to report bla bla..."

I'm using win Xp, my computer matches the minimum required and my cg is PS 3.0 compatible...

Anyone as a idea where it might come from?

im having the same problem and i also know a couple people who are having it too. Its most likely a hardware issue becuase reformating doesnt fix it.
Post your system's specs so we can try to narrow the problem down

Yeah Derrickk, I probably have the answer for you, if your specs to play this game is ok. (Be sure to install the directx included in the game,and update all ur hardware,videocard,soundcard,etc)
Since you get the message above you use the cracked exe, right? I didn`t even believe it when I found out what to do (was solved in another forum) but it sure works!
You have to unplug your gamepad and/or steeringwheel, there is a bug in the crack that if u have a gamepad and or steeringwheel plugged to ur pc the game wont start !!! I removed my Logitech Attack 3 and the game suddenly was working! LOL
I was having problems with the audio the first time I played, just turn all settings to 100% and you`ll hear what u should.

Anyone else getting a problem where spiderman is constantly running forward? I go into the menus, try to go up and down the options, then when I go back into the game I can't run forward at all.

It's really annoying trying to get the enemies and then just running round and round them.

This seems to be happening with every one of the cracked versions.

I think I know what your problem is but I am a little confused with your above comment??
Surely it works when using the original disc to play (without using a NoCD crack etc)?

why get the cracked version when it's $9 at circuit city this week. i got it today.

spiderman 3 nocd works fine on my main computer using a geforce 7600 gt
but not on my other computer or my daughters which have radeon 9250 cards so the nocd doesnt like radeon cards try finding a mini image

the orig disk works fine on all

Well the 9250 isnt really supported by Spiderman 3. The game requires a Pixel Shader 3 card.
