I rather remember seeing hexadecimal numbers as cheats for the Action Replay...

So without action replay isn't possible to make trainer or patch with hacked cheats?

Yes its possible.
But requires more work of course. Firstly, if you doing it for yourself your PS2 has to be chipped as you will be rewriting games to disc. Which wont work on a non-chipped. Then you have to learn Assembly used for the PS2 its not that different from any other ASM. Thirdly you will have to write a bootup file that reads the game to the PS2 but then injects code to the game coding, basically like a trainer for a PC game. Again its possible, but needs a bit of work. |
