Heroes of might and magic v install issue

My friend has recently bought the game and it works but when he made a backup of it we cant get the game to install. I have tried emulating it with a few programs but i the problem is always at the 1% installation mark when it says the path to the gamemanual.pdf is invalid. anyone know what i could do?

You wont get help, since its your Friends game and not yours.

Try with the original; does that work improperly, too? If so, contact the publisher; if not, create another, this time proper, backup. Read the forum FAQ for more ideas.

But do NOT use that copy for your own purposes; if you both want to play the game, purchase an original for each of you. (Read the forum rules!)

Point taken and problem solved got tired of messing with it so i bought the game and the problem was the drive almost no cds were working in it.
