What are dummy files? Should i add them to all my games?

What are dummy files, should i put them on every game i own? What is the best program?

The only games that need dummy files are the old ones that need the bootdisc i.e the .bin ones. Use autodummy to automatically add the dummy file for you. For games like Craxy Taxi it makes a hell of a difference.

should i use them for resident evil code veronica? im unsure wether it was a .bin file as ive borrowed the copied cd!

You don't need to add a dummyfile as both cd's are apparently (according to the nfo) about 75 minutes long. If you want to make them self boot you'll need to use 80 minute cd's.
