Question best CD-R?

which is the best CD-R media for PS2?
im currently using - Maxell CD-R 80XL - how do these rate?

Not sure how the maxell rate, The best is 'Verbatim data life plus' cd-r

I would vote for TDK. Also, probably, Philips and Fujifilm are among the best. Happy burning!

has anyone tried -
Ridisc Extreme Ritek AAA+ grade Full Face Inkjet Printable 52x CDR -
dont know the technical name for these, this is how they are listed at ukdvd.co.uk.
Ritek DVD's have always worked well for me but never tried CD-R's.

Isn't some (or most?) of TDK brand CD's and DVD's actually manufactured by Ritek anyway?

Yeah, some but not all. Same with Taiyo Yuden. I have purchased maxell dvd-r media that used the TYG02 dye. Someone on here awhile back was saying the Office Depot brand media was actually Ritek G04. These big manufacturers sometimes sell media to others which slap their own logo on them and sell as their own.
