disturbed
very confused

i have a neo key and v1 PS2, i have gameshark v1.9 and have tried to copy PS2 format games using verbatim cdr's. midnight club and dave mirra pro bmx (and every ps1 game) are the only ones that work? every other PS2 games i've tried freezes my PS2 at the "insert game cd" screen of the GS2, when the tray closes and i hit the x button i hear the cd spinning for about 4-5 seconds then it stops. any idea what i might be doing wrong? i must have copied the games right because i have 2 games to work and i used the same settings on every game. i have also looked for any patches for the game b4 burning, most didn't need one. please help.
THANKS in advance

Well there couldbe a number of reasons including:
1/
The games concerned are EA games that need special patches ( ####://www.eapatcher.com ) to work with a USB modchip.

2/
The games are protected or written in such a way that sub-channel data has to be read and written and either you haven't checked the appropriate boxes in your burning software or your reader/burner combination doesn't properly handle sub0channel data.

The best copy program to use is CloneCD with sub-channel data. Your burner has to be RAW-DAO+96 compatible. But EA protrected games have to be patched in which case CDRWin is the best utility.
