Football manager 06 confusing?

Hi:

I've been searching the forum regarding how to play backups of cm06. I've tried everything...and nothing seems to work fine for me. I have d-tools 4, have cm06 installed and patched applied. Then:

- I dowloaded the mds image from gamecopy, mounted with d-tools. hide all the virtual drives with virtualcdHide...but yet it says...please instert correct cd-rom. and it seems that the game is trying to read from my master cd drive(which has no cd on it). or something.

- I also found kinda confusing the whole nt4.0 compatibility some users agree that it has to be set to nt4.0 but some others say that that might cause a crash.

Help?

thanks.

try to mount the image with daemon tools 3.7 and hide the virtual drive with sd4hide... may it works...

otherwise use the dvd...

edit: btw - is there a way to hide dt 4.00 drives? i thought dt 4.00 drives will be unrecognized by this tools... ???

I have found in the past that sd4hide may not work as it should the first time! After choosing 'hide' in sd4hide you go to start the game and you will recieve the "Insert CD" message but if you go back to sd4hide and choose 'Restore' then 'hide' again then it will almost certainly work.
I cant say this will definately work with cmo6 tho as I dont have that particular game. But its worth a try the second time just to make sure.

Help is on the way(I guess)

Go to www.gamecopyworld.com and try to find a file called Virtual CD-hide.What it does is it hypothetically hides the virtual drives so that they can't be traced by games.I'm not sure if it works but it's worth the shot
