I would like to run this game without the disc, i have purches the game and tried to use game jackal to make it run without the cd but all i get is the splash screen. is there a no cd fix coming out for this game????

i did find a way to copy the courses cd for all you guys out there, use clone cd and burn the image to your HD then mount it with deamon tools and enable all options under emulation. it runs but takes up alot of HD space. It took me 12 min to burn the image with a 48x cd rom. Still waiting for the no cd fix to be release tho, anyone out there can help to find one?

I didn't know how to make a Clone image so I just downloaded the 'Addiction' CloneCD. I tried mounting it with daemon tools first with all emulation set to on. It puts up the Tiger Woods splash screen on the desktop which then goes off. Then either a white box apears and then disapears on the taskbar or the screen goes black and then back yo the desktop. So I tried it with Alcohol (the exact version mentioned in the info file). It does the same thing, I tried it about 20 times in a row and it started once and played. But I've just tried about 30 times now without success. Not exactly worth trying to load it 20 to 30 times when I can just put the CD in so I gave up.

To make Tiger Woods 06 working,u just need to clone/make an image (or if u got the images already) of disk 1 and 3. After installing the full game mount disk 1 with Alcohol and disk 3 with deamon. close all open windows,if u got autorun. Hide the Virtual drives (deamon and alcohol) with virtual-cd-hide,
the click your Woods'06 icon on your desktop....wala....have good time...still a bit better than 05,but if u love golf, this is it !!!

You dont have to mount both images. Think, ....
It's a CLONE u have there. So nothing is touched or compromized.

.. and since it's a "perfect copy" EA would be pretty stupid
to have 2 CDs inserted at the same time.. (try that on a Laptop..)

Customers with one CD/DVD would go bezerk and prolly never
buy a game from EA the next time.

Anyway,
all u have to do with that 'Addiction' 3CD-Clone is:

- mount CD1 with Alcohol or D-Tools.. (use ONE virtual drive only)
- start the installer
- wait for "insert CD2"
- unmount CD1 .. mount CD2 using the same virtual drive
- do the same step with CD3

... that's ALL u have to do.
No hiding drives - no closing programs..
You can even click "Launch Tiger" at the end start playing.

.. That's how it works (and always worked) for me.
