Hardcore Copy Protection on: Myst 5: End of Ages

Hello,

i've bought Myst 5: End of Ages original. Installation works perfekt, but I can't play the game. After the start the game aborts with the Error Message (Translated): "The Original Game DVD can't not be found". Only available option is "OKAY" - and then I'm back on my desktop.
I've tried a lot - if I use virtual drives I get the Error message (Translated) "Virtual Drives detected - please disable and try again".
If someone is able to beat this problem - tell me. I can give you the EXE File or whatever you need. I'm a noob in Copy Protection problems ...

Best to let the developers or publishers know, about your hardware (GFX card etc and DVD-Rom drive) they may have an idea on how to get it to work for you.

thx for your reply - i've already done this 3 times.
they have given me tipps like deactivate all other drives, change that and that and that in the bios, make a firmware update of the drive...

nothing works.

i've seen that a lot of people have this problem (in other forums) - some people of course have no problems...
