Angry Hidden & Dangerous 2 cd2dvd help

I try to modify Hidden & Dangerous 2 from cd to dvd with this guide
http://fileforums.com/showpost.php?p...&postcount=112

I have changed disk label from DISK2 and DISK3 to DISK1 with Orca in Hidden & Dangerous 2 .msi

Then i have burned it with label DISK1, but installshield still need next disk :-/

(when is next disk needed I try to add new section on dvd, change dvd label to DISK2 and burn it. Then I go to Installator and click ok, installation continues :-( )

Where is the problem?

You can download my edited Hidden & Dangerous 2 .msi here and check it:
http://www.raketomet.net/work/hidden...rous_2_msi.rar

you can post me your edited msi file on my email [email protected]

Hmm, I dont know where the problem is as it all worked fine for me? The label must be DISK1 for this game, and my install continues without prompting for the next disc.

@Dabhand
Orca is a part of the Microsoft Windows Installer SDK (x86) Package. IntelSDK can be downloaded Free from Microsoft. But all most people do is remove Orca from the package. Orca can be downloaded seperately from many places, including here.

H&D is our czech game, so I have this game with our czech localization -included.

Maybe the czech installator is bugged :-/, because I can remove table "Media" in msi file and installator know, which file and which media nummber he have to use...

I am disgusted

Try changing the disk prompt from 2 or 3 to 1, so it looks like disk 1 all the time

Every game I have done using Orca does not need the Disk Prompt column changed. It doesnt matter if it says disc 2 as long as the label column is correct.

omg, I tried to change disk prompt before to, but it doesn't work!

Now I have new "Hidden & Dangerous 2 .msi" file from network and I have changed volumelabel to DISK1 and diskprompt to nummber 1

Now it works perfect, thanks guy

Your original msi file is definately damaged then!! Try just changing the Label column of the New msi file you have obviously downloaded and you will find it will also work and that you do not need to change the disc prompt column. I havent changed the disc prompt column and it all works correctly.

EDIT: Hmm yes it could be because it is the czech version, but I doubt it?
