Close Combat: First to Fight (Hoodlum)

When trying to run the cracked game, I get this error:

'Close Combat: First To Fight has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'

The game doesn't load.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and been able to get around it? I've searched everywhere for a different crack but I can only find the one by Hoodlum (3,874,816 bytes).

Do you get the same error, when you try to start the game with original CD/DVD, without a crack?
Do you have the original CD/DVD?

Since you mentioned that you downloaded the Hoodlum version it is considered as WAREZ and we can't help you!

He said he tried to run the cracked game, which he only found a hoodlum crack for.

The problem lies with certain AMD processors (for the most part any older than XP's) not supporting the SSE instruction set. Destineer has released a patch to resolve the issue. You can find that patch here.. http://www.destineerstudios.com/firs...l/support.html. This however will only work if you have a legitmate copy of the game as you will need the CD in the drive to play the game. Hopefully Hoodlum or someone else will make a "no-cd" patch soon so that I can put my disc away before I ruin it from too much play.
