Icreasing HDD size later
If I had 200G HDD. And, I was initially using it without the patch for increased HDD size(i.e. I'm only using 120G), but later if I decide to apply the patch, would I lose the data that's already put in the HDD? Would I need to reformat?

no data lose or reformat needed just patch HDL and it'll see the space

Assuming I have the patch, do you know how can actually apply the patch and use it? I have Matrix Infinity chip installed.

you need the uncompressed .ELF (the mc version) then you need to use the command line to patch it
