Please don't laugh but do you need the patch to play the game if there is one??

Well my question is in the subject. Think anyone can help? For example i have Tony Halwks Pro Skater 2 and i want to burn it and was wondering if i needed the patch from here to play it? If I do does that mean that if there is a patch you have it use it? I thank you for your reply in advance. Oh ya and I plan on using nero burning rom

Acctuly iam not really sure.. But i do think you need it cause the patches are ussaly for cd copy protections and such to remove em. So i whould be 10$ that you need the patch... Not sure at all....

I have about 75+ DC copy's and I have never patched a single one of them and they all work fine... Except for Gunbird 2 who needs to be patched to run on a PAL DC, but since I have an NTSC DC I have nothing to be worried about. There are some games that need a patch to ork for example Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 and Grandia 2...

I have burned 120+ games and never patched a single one. Never had any trouble with any of them exept for when I forget to turn the burn speed down from 16X to 12X. I wouldnt worry about patches. But if you want to be sure just check and see what patches are available and see what they do. If you see one that says something about copy protection you just might need it. But like I said 120+ games and never needed a patch....
