New Cell Phone Advice.. AT&T carrier
What's shaking fellas..
I need cell phone advice. The phone I have right now is better suited to be a paperweight.. I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me.. thus negating the entire purpose of a cell phone.. Anyway I use ATT and yes I know they suck.. But I signed the contract and the devil has me by the juevos.. Soooo.. Anyone know of a decent one.. I'm using an NEC525 by the way.. I'm leaning toward the Motorola V600.. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.. I need it to be compatible with a SIM card for easy changeover.. Thanks

Hey Grumpy,
Come to think of it the LG's are pretty decent phones. Parents have one and so does my brother. I ran into another hurdle though when I talked to the phone guy at best buy. ATT and Cingular merged.. And apparently Cingular wears the pants in the family.. So if you have an ATT plan and want to upgrade phones you have to get a new plan with Cingular.. i have about 650 anytime free night/weekends and its a GSM fone so yadda yadda yadda.. its 50 a month after taxes Cingulars closet plan is 600 anytime and free nights and weekends yadda yadda yadda.. but they want 60 with tax.. The only positive I see is that they have the roll over thing. I guess I could re-evaluate my minutes and go with less..

trying to recomend a phone to someone is like recomending a car every one is different and does different things. firstly
what do you want to do with you'r phone ? ie, do you want to take pictures ?do you want to use video calls? etc etc. tell me what functions you'r after and i can better help you. as for the motorolla v600 don't bother with it it's a piece of crap. it's very cheapley put together and will likley disintergrate the first time you drop it, that also goes for just about all motorolla flip phones. i'd recomend a samsung or sony erricson there put together quite well and tend to last the distance as far as general wear and tear goes, nokia on the other hand are more user friendley and desighned for easy repair if the need should ever arise. i can recomend a few excellent cellphone forums for you to take a look at. if you'r interested.

if u going to have to switch carriers get sprint its great i get 1000 any time mins and free nights and weekends starting at 7pm to 7am for like $55 a month atfer taxes and all the bs fees they add on and it only cost $125 to start out no matter if u have really bad credit and u get a nice samsung filp phone for free with the deal
 i use to have at&t they sucked always loseing single and stuff
