s-video vs RGB

hi

i got a tv tuner on my pc and ive connected my ps2 through it , ps2 comes up in a window which is handy if im using the pc at the same time.

however, the picture quality on the monitor is awful since im using the standard ps2 av cables(red, yellow, white).

there is an option to connect the ps2 with an s-video cable so im wondering if this will improve picture quality?

also, how would this compare to RGB remembering that it will be on a standard pc monitor?

thanks.
