new german nhl05 doesnt work too

Oh no....the new german noCD from GCW isnt working with German Version..
the same Problem...Game doesnt start with a insert CD2 Message..poor!

EDIT : Maybe GCW has named the file wrong...with my backup CD2 its working fine !!! May its a Backup CD fix and not a noCD ....

The Backup CD2 doesnt run without a backup CD fix!
Normally i can easily make a running Safedisc 3.2 CD Backup with CloneCD5 and Emulate Week Sectors! Works with Fifa05, Rome, TonyHU2
But not with NHL05 ! Can only mount the Image..but cannot start from CD2.

But with this "noCD" the Backup CD2 runs 100% right!

if someone could make an mini image of the game cd. Like in RomeTotalWar we shouldn't have the problem. Becuase one image for US and one for Europe. And you get a stright please insert disc error if you got the wrong mini-image file.
However to your case.

The no-cd can be a fixed .exe file! Means that CD-Checks are still avible. That's mean if you done a losly copy of the Disc 2, so the protection isn't copied you can run it fine with a fixed .exe. It will ask for disc and just check the label for it/maybe one or two file and not the protection! If you got the original and bad copy it will ask for the original CD!

well, the Image is working 100% right..no crashes ...thats not the Problem!

Only the CD2 isnt working..
All other actual SD3.2 Games i can easily make a working copy! So that you can load it from Image or with the backup CD2.

1 write the Image with Alcohol and SD3 Profil and Subchannel reading (as CCD file)!
2 burn it with CloneCD5 and Emulate Week Sectors!
3 with ClonCD Tray Tool you can play it with the Backup CD or you can mount the Image without any Emulation!
Easy...no Prob so far!

Only Nhl05 cannot load the CD ..only the Image works fine! Strange..must be an optimized SD3 Protection...

Maybe the Problem is in the SAR2 file...dont know if theres in the UK Version only the SAR file..in EU is SAR and SAR2..



EDIT : This noCD in use with the Backup CD2 doesnt work! I get a full Sys Crash after few minutes in Game..
Only Way for me without orig CD is like above to mount the image (full Image not mini Image)...

Normally everybody should be able to write a working Image of Safedis3.2 Games...with any CD Burner or DVD..
Because the Problem with Safedisc is the Burning ..not all Writers can handle SD3.2! Best Way is CloneCD with Emulate Week Sectors..
