I heard that you could take a gamecube iso image already riped to pc and burn it to a regular disk. Then cut it to the size of a gamecube disk. I didnt think this would work but havent tried it.

the only way to get a gamecube iso onto the pc is to use the pso exploit, the PC dvd drive will not read gamecube or xbox games. and its not possible to burn gamecube games yet as there is no modchip out.

ok, but is the one reason gc wont read them is because when you put in a gc game it reads the barcode first instead of the info on disk?

yes, all systems are like that including ps2 and xbox.
