what will i need for the hdloader
What do i need for the hdloader? Can i just put in a harddrive from my computer and start playing Or do i need something else?

No. You need a Network Adapter for the IDE interface. From here you can then plug into the console. A lot of your questions are answered in the HDLoader Review - I suggest you read it if you haven't already...
