Need Help with DNAS

Hello all. Yes.....I am a newbie. So, let me ask my first newbie question.

I have looked around on these forums, and can't seem to find the answer to my question. I know that in order to play my backups online, I have to get some sort of DNAS patch.

Now, question #1 - Where do I get this patch?
question #2 - Is it the same patch for every game? Or is it a different one for every game?
question #3 - Once I get the patch that I need.....how exactly do I add that into by backup? Where does it need to go?
