Starwars Battlefront mouse pointer problems

I installed the game and the NoCd from Gamecopyworld but when I start Starwars Battlefront my mouse pointer gradually moves upward by itself on the main menu screens. In gameplay everything seems to be fine though.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or a possible solution for it. Maybe it has something to do with my cordless mouse .

Do you also have a joystick or steering wheel connected? I have had the same problem and found it was because the joystick was connected and in the up position.
Mine aren't cordless though!

Thanks to both of you. I unplugged a couple of USB cables for a camera and MP3 player that I just had dangling from the back of my P.C. with nothing attached to either of them and that solved the problem, no more mouse problem with SW Battlefront. Strange it only happenned on this game and nothing else(don't figure). .

no prob mate and its because some games enable joysticks and other controllers in the menus, god knows why but they do.
