Cd burning Problem

Hi Friends,
can anyone tell me when we burn a Mp3 to an audio file why dose the clarity of the song goes down and if i burn it an Mp3 file i get the best clarity.is there any reason for that or will that be any problem with my Cd burining method. I am using Nero 6 to burn Cds.. and in that we have great options to burn the cds also. So can anyone give me any help on this.Is there any other Applications with which we can burn Cds more clearly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think it's not free, but it's a pro program for specific actions.
I think your problem could be solve in the Nero6, but I don't know it too much, maybe look after the decompressing/uncompressing options.
