Diablo2 to DVD / Multiple game CD to DVD

I'm trying to burn Diablo2 to a DVD so I dont have to swap CDs during the install process. When installing, it promtpts with "insert the disc labeled 'Play Disc'", etc. anyonw know a working method? thanks...

You'll want to copy the first (play or expansion) cd's copy protection, and then you may be able to just copy the rest of the files on. If there are name conflicts or other forms of cd detection during install it may not be that simple.

that does not work, as stated it prompts for the next disc.

if there is a msi file for the setup download the intel sdk and edit the setup msi file goto cd root and change all disk ,2,3 etc to refer to disk 1

Texn, if the game has a 'msi' file then it will need editing! Have a look here: http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=62564

Now make sure you also read the posts from 'Morglum007' as from what I have since learned he knows what he's talking about. He also deserves most of the credit, I hadnt been to his site (cdsteam) prior to writing the help but after going there it seems I mainly only translated what Morglum007 had already previously discussed! Hope this helps

Now if the game doesnt have an 'msi' file then havent I just wasted some time!

don't forgett that Diablo II is protected by SecuROM and many people have a hard time to make a working backup of it...without it asking for the right CD!
