Gamejackal
A new utility out now, apparently its a program that makes your games to work without the cd (no-cd) except apparently it doesnt patch anything it just "works" and it makes profiles based on your pc hardware so no one else can use it (prevents making no-cd patches)
What you think? My first and obvious question was, what about starforce? does it work with it? if it does, ill def buy it.

I just heard about it. What does it do? How does it work?
[edit]I've red the info on the website, but it wasn't very helpfull...[/edit] [edit2]Okay, red the forums. I get it now. Interesting software. This will bring back the days of people "going Dutch" when buying games again :\ However, it won't help with the issue of some patches demanding original disks to work (Flashpoint etc.) so that will still be an issue for those who want to lock up their originals in a safe... (Like me.) I do think this program will be blacklisted by copyprotections real fast though.[/edit2] Last edited by goddamn; 17-08-2004 at 18:03. |
