Audio question?
I was able to extract a song off a homemade dvd my brother made for me of previous family outings and holiday gatherings. Anyway I asked my brother if he has the song in stereo but he says its in mono only.(sound from one speaker). My question is, Is there a way to re-record the song or use a programm to make it work out of both speakers?
I have never had this prob before, with any of my music. I currently have SBlive software, winamp, roxio6, nero6, and cakewalk home studio 2002.

try to use TMPGEnc trial can be found here
1. at startup close the wizard 2. on the bottom right select: ES (Audio only) 3. under that you click onto setting and configure your audio properties 4. on bottom you can find the fields for video or/and audio source (browse for your video or audio source on your dvd here!) |

I got it to work.
I just burnt it to a cd then re-recorded it (line in, aux, standalone cd player) using creative recorder then used cakewalk2004 to fix the .wav file so that it plays as if it were in stereo. It took me 2 hours to get it just right but it sounds great. I even was able to make it sound like some parts only come out of one side for the special stereo effects. thanks for the help efforts, even though they didnt work. Cant stand winxp.I was told from a not so reliable source that most virus attacks are specifically written for the win2000/xp platforms. Not sure how true that is but I took it as a cautious warning. I have heard alot of my friends reporting trouble in this regard but not positively linked to virus problems. For one of them I would almost swear they are just user error prone. Anyway, my prob is solved.
