Diablo 2 BNet Help!

I just installed a burned copy of Diablo 2 from my cousin and I followed all the steps for the Diablo 2: LoD v1.10 [ALL] BNET Loader but when I try connecting to battle net a message comes up saying Battle.net is unable to identify my application version. If anyone knows how to solve this problem I'd be very greatful. Thanks alot
