What are Bootcds used for or what are they asposed to do? ???

you are the first person i've got to help.
I am fairly new here!

boot cds boot your dc, then you will be prompted to insert your game. It won't matter if the game is foreighn or copied b/c the region code or whatever it is alreasy booted with the boot cd.
this allows you to play non selfbooting cds.(.bin) and (.cue) files

nowadays there are selfbooting games that do not require the boot disc. (.cdi) files
