how to you know what BIOS you have installed in the xbox

If you are running evolution x on your xbox then you will find the bios version in the settings section. The first line under the heading BIOS. If you do not have evolution x then hopefully someone else will answer your post 'cos I haven't got a clue!!

and does it load with an xecuter2 under the splash x?

I'd suggest you flash to a x2's bios. D6 is old now.

well like 4983 is.. thats for x3 and all and kindauseless
4981 is pretty good... thatsa the bios of 4979 + doesnt allow u to go live by accident 4979.. basically everythin u need its ur call
