Replacing dvd2xbox new version

With all the problems copying The suffering I decided to first update my old version of dvd2xbox v4.9 to 5.5. Found file, unzipped and copied whole directory that was created from the zip, of course backed up original dvd2xbox folder just incase. When I choose to run the program on the xbox it looks like it starts to then returns to main menu, Am I supposed to keep any of the files from the original dvd2xbox dir. or did I forget a step. The file came with no instructions, I copied to whole directory file for file, about 8 or 10 meg I think. Thanks

Another prob

I was just looking through the directories and files from dvd2xbox 5.5 and the default.xbe file is not there. Do I use the original from the old directory? Is this not the main executable file. was I supposed to copy 5.5 overtop of the old 4.9?

HANS_COBBO is on a distinguished road
Dvd2xbox wont solve your problem backing the The Suffering to the HD. You need the HD fix in order to run it from HD or edit the hex code yourself in the default.xbe

However, regards to Dvd2box, if you have an older version just extract the new version from the zip/rar and copy the new files over and overwrite the old files and re-boot.

Worked!!!

For anybody having problems with The Suffering just hunt down DVD2XBOX v5.5. I installed and re-copied game and worked on first try.
