You can't read a DVD without a DVD reader.
You can't burn a DVD image without a DVD burner.

To make an ISO, you can use DVDDecrypter in ISO-Read-Mode.
Download it from www.dvddecrypter.com . Have you tried Alcohol 120% ?

![]() Background: The (physical) reflectivity of both DVD+R and DVD-R is less than the reflectivity of genuine DVD-ROM media. This may prevent lasers of old DVD-ROM drives to actualy retrieve the information on the DVD+/-R. Furthermore, each DVD-* media has a special zone denoting the actual kind of the media (magic bits). Firmware of older drives often can not interprete them the right way and fail to read, even if the physical reflectivity would suffice. Your options: 1.) try different media. If you've burned on DVD-R, try DVD+R and vice versa 2.) Many DVD+R burners are capable of cheating the magic bits and faking a DVD-ROM. Try both settings: DVD-ROM and DVD+R 3.) a bit risky: update the firmware of your DVD-ROM drive. rpc1.org is a good address for firmware updates |
