Problem with Magic 50K Install
When I first tested this V9 after installation the “Playstation 2” showed up and then a white rectangle of junk graphics takes the logo’s place and then the game loaded. I opened it up and looked at all my points, everything looks good. It booted a PS1 backup fine, PS2 backups and originals but 50% of the time with the graphic messed up. Then I try it again about a half hour later and the laser bumps like crazy for a second and something I’ve never seen before, a small PS1 logo, then a blue “PS2” then PS2 settings screen and after all that a message “read error”
Man I don’t like this one bit, I never cared to install these 50K’s but this is the first time I’ve had any problems.

Well now it’s working just fine! I took it apart again, tested the battery, looked everything over again and put it back together. Maybe I didn’t have the laser ribbon clipped in all the way or something, also the case was damaged quite badly so it’s hard to say what the problem was, the shield was bent a bit and hard to remove when I first opened it. I’ll test it for a few hours now to make sure.
