Record max now Question

I have just purchased a dvd/rw for my second computer that is running 98se.
I had tried record max as i have a dvd/rom just to see if the proggie would work on my older m/c.
I uninstalled the program but when i came to re-install after fitting the dvd/rw i keep getting
Internal error 2753
logagent.exe.A391D65D_ECOC_4E24_8FC5_33E230949AD3
Do any of you peeps have any idea what may be the problem.
Could it be logged in the registry? thus not allowing re-install??
I have run super cleaner but keep getting the same results on install.

Before you reinstall go to your Program files folder, usually in C:\. Then delete the folder called Stomp in there.

Then try to reinstall. You should be ok.

Yeah thanks for the reply...but i have already tried that.
I was wondering if it is because i have a oem version dvd/rw (apparently it's a lite-on but unbadged (it shows as dvdrw DRW-1S81) and stomp doesn't support it.
I'm goonna remove the dvd/rw later tonite and try to install stomp again....just to prove or disprove this theory

Just a after thought...does stomp have a support list because the dv/rw is a oem version even though it's made by lite-on.
I have found the listing for it at www.4kus.com and downloaded the firmware upgrade but still get the same error message.

If you have a registered version of Stomp I think you can go to the Sonic website and download their pxengine update. That should fix your problem.

Cheers for the help guy's but managed to get it sorted.
Of all things i put a search in google for the error no and it directed me to a section on the stomp forum.
Apparently the problem is caused by incorrect logagent.exe files or corrupted ones.
The solution was to search for the logagent files and change the .exe to '.old ' then the re-install went whithout a hitch.
Thanx again for your help
