in flashfxp, go under the "toggles" tab in the quick connect popup. Make sure that passiv mode is unchecked and try again.

ok, I think the problem is with my computer. heres the last part of the message:

200 Type set to ASCII.
PORT 192,168,1,200,16,158
425 Can't open data connection to 192.168.1.200:35603

192.168.1.200 is my LAN/TCP-IP ip address. Is this a firewall issue? My firewall is disable, now how can I solve this?

What FTP program are you using? I had a problem kind of like that with an older version of Cute FTP, then I tried flashFXP and it was resolved. Something about the older version of cute FTP no being compatible with Evox

finally, someone else who has SUCCESFULLY softmodded a xbox..lol.
well i would *strongly* suggest buying a new harddrive, cuz do you REALLY want to buy a new dvdrom drive just so that you can read cd-r? or do you have another reason? your xbox can already read cd-rw, in case you didnt know, so i think you should go with the HDD

edit: UNLESS you meant dvd drive for your comp. then, that would make ALOT more sense. if you have a regular cdburner on your comp, then get your xbox a new HDD. but if your comp doesnt have a cdburner at all, get the dvd rw drive.

ya softmodding was very very difficult esp. for the new 1.5 xbox. I screwed my xbox like 10 times( xbox wont boot and shoed me error 21). But I was always able to restore the partitions. I decided to buy a dvd-burner for my computer. cz then I can burn dvd games and softmodded xbox can directboot backups too. yesterday i burned some emus and games in a cdrw and played without any problem.

oh, just installed Xbox Media Center as my default dash. although it takes few secs more to boot up than evox but it looks beautifull.
