Hex Edit the Street Fighters RGB???

Is it possible to get Street Fighter 3rd Strike, and Alpha 3 to work through the RGB cable by hex editing the cd image, rather than using a patch??? Cos i cannot seem to get the patches to work, it always says that the file size is incorrect when i try to apply it!!! Also as im using a P2P to get my games i never really know what release these games are! So i was just wounderig if you can sort this RGB problem out by editing some of the Hex strings in the cd image, i know you can change a game from 50Hz to 60Hz through hex, so is it possible to sort the RGB cable out through hex editing!?, im guessing Megalexxx would know the best as he seems to have sorted out a lot of DC games with Hex!! If it is possible to get these games working through hex, could you please post what strings need to be edited!? Thanks to anybody who can help

Megalexxx is on a distinguished road
Try this for Street Fighter Alpha 3 :
look for
04 8D 00 EE 03 88 4E 89 64 A0 09
change it by
04 8D 00 EE 02 88 4E 89 64 A0 09

For Street Fighter 3rd Strike :
1) look for
09 00 09 00 09 00 09 00 09 00 30 88 07 89 06 A0 09
replace it by
07 89 32 88 07 89 33 88 07 89 30 88 07 89 06 A0 09

2) look for
00 E0 00 E0 04 7F 26 4F 0B 00
replace it by
02 E0 00 E0 04 7F 26 4F 0B 00

3) look for
30 E0 02 2E 00 E0 26 4F 0B 00 F6 6E
replace it by
4C 84 02 2E 00 E0 26 4F 0B 00 F6 6E

4) look for
07 D3 31 60 19 40 03 C9 02 88 00 8B 03 E0 0B 00 09 00
replace it by
22 4F 06 B0 09 00 26 4F 03 E4 19 40 09 24 0B 00 43 60

This might not work.
Tell me if it does.

Thanks for replying, but i sorted it out now, the patch way! I had to mount the nrg image in the virtual drive within Alcohol and then load it up within Discjuggler and created an cdi iamge and then apply the patch to that, and it worked!! On a side note, how do you knwo which hex strings to change to get these games to work????
