Magic V Problems!!!
Hi all,
I am in real shock right now. I have a new V9 PS2 that I bought. I sent it to a mod installer to install me a Magic V 50k in my PS2 last week. All games work fine. UNTIL now...When I play any games, the PS2 goes to stand-by mode and the red light keeps flashing and it does not want to open the tray! Until I turn the switch off. What's going on? Please help thanx. Nino

Sounds like it is overheating. Is the rear fan running? If you can't tell open it up and see.

Yes I found the problem thanx for the suggestion. I checked the rear of the PS2 and the fan was not spinning! And that was the reason for the overheating. SO, I cleaned the fan from outside with a Dust cleaner and...IT WORKED
 The fan is spinning again and the PS2 is fine now. Thanx for the suggestion again! It helped alot Nino
